WHAT IS TURBINADO SUGAR?
Turbinado sugar is a type of light brown sugar that is of a coarser grain.
It differs from brown sugar because it doesn't contain as much molasses and has less water content. It is fabulous in this Pumpkin Sugar Scrub. This also smells so wonderful.
It is less processed than white and brown sugar because it is pulled from the first-strike of cane syrup during molasses manufacturing.
This formula is also enriched with tocopherols which help keep the oil from going rancid. Tocopherols are a form of Vitamin E which can be derived from Sunflower, Olive and various other natural oils.
BOTANICAL EXTRACTS INCLUDED
In addition to the Tocopherols, the following Botanical Extracts were added to increase the antioxidant nature of this product.
RICE BRAN EXTRACT
The extract of Rice Bran contains Vitamin E and Fatty Acids which makes it a go-to ingredient for those trying to moisturize their skin. The antioxidants and Squalene that is present in Rice Bran can help smooth skin tone and impart a fresher, younger look.
SUNFLOWER EXTRACT
This extract comes the de-hulled kernel of Sunflower Seeds. Sunflower Extract contains a rich complex of nutrients that help your skin look its best by aiding in hydration.
ROSEMARY LEAF EXTRACT
Rosemary is a staple aromatic oil used in the bath body industry. Although the extract is scentless, it contains the natural benefits of rosemary. Aside from being moisturizing, rosemary imparts wellness to skin.
